Review of the EPP progress

Precisely one year after the opening of our 24h -7/7 chain, new stages of improvment are planned. Since a few weeks, the first EPP operations have been tested by the EPP task-force. for the contac objects : create for the domain objects : create, check and info [...]

The targeted schedule is still equal to the one announced with a launching towards March 30th 2009. We are ready to welcome new Registrars in this phase of test, in order to intensify the feedback on bugs and possible modifications to the functionnalities. We thank you for reporting yourself by e-mail to relations.prestataires@afnic.fr, and we will submit to you all the necessary information for the tests. Furthermore, a Technical Work Group will be set up on December 11th in the afternoon, with the Registrars Option 1 (cf : mail sent on November 25th). We are organizing in parallel a one hour call conference for the english-speaking on December the 12th, at 11 am, specifically dedicated to the EPP feedback and reactions. The Registrars which are interested can contact us, on relations.prestataires@afnic.fr in order to suscribe and get the terms so as to access to the call conference. December will be devoted to the deployment of update, delete and restore functions in tests. The complete specifications and detailed documentation on the new procedures (which will have an impact on all the Registars, either EPP or not) will be submitted to you at the beginning of 2009.
